Friends International Summer Welcome: Hundreds of international students arrive in Exeter this summer. Many feel homesick and eager to make local friends; many from countries where there’s no chance to hear the Gospel and they may be curious about Christianity. Let us welcome them and make friendships sensitively and prayerfully. Welcome Party on campus on Mon, July 8. We’d love cakes to share, and people to come along. Can you help? After that we meet Mon evenings at a pub/cafe in Jul & Aug and welcome any who can help regularly or one-off. To find out more, please contact Jenny Hudson,
jenny.hudson@friendsinternational.uk. We’d also value your prayers for our new guests!

Foster care and adoption an information evening: Sarah Denton, a long term Christian foster carer, is hosting an evening, with a number of other local Christian foster carers and adopters, to share their experience and answer questions at the X Centre, Commercial Road, EX2 4DX on Wednesday July 17  7.30 – 9pm. Children removed from their families is a horrible consequence of our broken world and it is a place where loving Christians can make a big difference. This evening is for anyone interested in the issue, whether to get involved or to help support those who do.

Exeter Foodbank July priority items: Instant coffee, 1lt UHT semi skimmed milk, tinned meat, tinned sponge puddings, tinned rice pudding, jam and spreads, squash cordial drinks.
