Friends International Summer Welcome: Hundreds of international students arrive in Exeter this summer. Many feel homesick and eager to make local friends; many from countries where there’s no chance to hear the Gospel and they may be curious about Christianity. Let us welcome them and make friendships sensitively and prayerfully. We meet Mon evenings at a pub/cafe in Jul & Aug and welcome any who can help regularly or one-off. To find out more, please contact Jenny Hudson,
firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d also value your prayers for our new guests!
Feedback of service time change trial: Please take the opportunity return your form to the clergy/office pigeon hole. We would very much value your reflections and feedback at this stage.
Accommodation: Julian Wilks needs to rent a room for 2/3 nights a week from mid August. He is willing to pay for his rent. If you can help please speak to Maureen Venning.
Friends International: Jenny Hudson is stepping down at the end of August to take up a post at Belmont. Friends International are keen to recruit her replacement. Hit the button for more info or speak to Elinor Keane.
We have letters of thanks for our support of Friends International, ICE and Mike and Helen Morrissey’s work with Wycliffe.
Summer spruce up! Can you help with cleaning, maintenance and gardening from Tuesday 27-Friday 30 August. Please get in touch with Maureen Venning if you can help for an hour or two during these dates. Let her know when you can come and if you prefer cleaning, gardening or maintenance. Thank you.
Free Sunday parking is available at County Hall (EX2 4QD), a 5-10 min walk from us. If you can do this it will free up space nearer the church for those less able.
