We are on Topsham Road about 15 minutes walk from the city centre

By bus

Several buses pass the church including K (Pinhoe – City Centre – Countess Wear), T (as K but extended from Countess Wear to Topsham), J, R (City Centre, Heavitree,  Burnthouse Lane,  Topsham Road clockwise circle) and S (City Centre, Topsham Road, Burnthouse Lane, Heavitree anti-clockwise circle).

Buses from further afield  (e.g. 2, 39, 57,  X38 and X46) turn off the Topsham Road into Barrack Road.  Get off at the first stop after the turning, walk back down to Topsham Road, turn right and walk for 10 mins to the church which is on your Left.

By train

Exeter Central is the nearest station.  Come out of the station by the station buildings, turn left then after 200m turn right into the High Street, then after another 200m turn left at the crossroads into South Street. At this point you can catch a K, S or T bus to St Leonard’s or just continue walking for another 7 – 10 minutes down South Street straight over the Junction, down Holloway Street then up the hill and St Leonard’s is on your right.

Exeter St. David’s – catch bus H to the City Centre (beware that buses in both directions use the same stop – you want one that is NOT going to Cowley Bridge).  Get off just after Exeter Central Station and follow the directions above.
