Our Bishops

As a Church of England church we operate within the Diocese of Exeter under the oversight of the Bishop of Exeter and the Bishop of Ebbsfleet. Having been a ‘Resolution B’ parish under the previous Priests (Ordination of Women) Measure 1993, the PCC has passed a resolution under the House of Bishops’ Declaration on the Ministry of Bishops and Priests (2014) in order to reflect its continued views on the distinctive and complementary ministries of men and women. This resolution was recently affirmed by the PCC in March 2024.
